Conversation with Noah

Gloria: Hey Noah, Look here, this is Zach's brother and his name is also Noah.

Noah: NO! Wait...he can not be Zach's brother, Zach already has a brother.

Gloria: I know. Zach has TWO brothers.

Noah: (with a look of amazing realization and a big light bulb over his head)  I want two brothers too! *big smile*

Gloria: well, you already have a di di (chinese word for little brother) you don't really need TWO do you?

Noah: Then I want a di di and a mei mei (chinese for little sister)

Gloria: Hmmmmm I don't know, I don't think that's going to happen.

Noah: Puh-leeeeeeeease? please? please?please? *signing please*

Gloria: Maybe you should pray and ask God.

Noah: Dear Jesus, please can I have a mei mei.....and a go go (chinese for dog)

Gloria : What?!

Noah: just a little tiny go go

yeah...I don't think that's going to happen...either one. Sorry Noah

Conversations with Noah

Seeing a guy in a chicken suit on the other side of the street, I thought Noah would be amused:

Gloria: Hey Noah, look over there. What do you see?

Noah: A chicken?

Gloria: Yeah! What do you think?

Noah: I think he wants to cross the road

Gloria: LOL and knowing he's never heard the joke before; nor would he get it.  "Why do you think he wants to cross the road?"

Noah: I think he wants to come home with me and play with me

Isaiah 100 days

So last week on October 10, Isaiah turned 100 days old. In addition to that, I had to take him to get his passport and visa photo retaken since his passport and mine somehow got lost in the post. (the UK's Royal Mail has been on strike) I tried to take some 100 day  photos of Isaiah when we got home but couldn't get any good shots. Below are a few of the better ones. Here are the rest of them. This outfit is his 100 day outfit and also his passport and visa outfit. Then, in all my brilliance, I completely forgot to get my own photo retaken and had to go back the next day to have my passport and visa photo taken. In my photo, I look kinda tired, kinda grubby and still carrying some extra baby weight....great...my passport for the next 10 years

Better late than never

So Isaiah is now 7 weeks old and it's taken me this long to find some time to post. The labor itself was only 6 hours if you don't count the 11 days of latent labor where I was having contractions between 5 minutes and 2 hours. During this time, I tried everything to get things going spicy laksa, lots of walking, pineapple, etc etc....but in the end, a friend prayed for me at church on Sunday and Isaiah was born Monday the very next day.

Isaiah Zhong Wen Lin a week overdue born on July 2 at 11:52AM in London England.  When
Noah was born, he was a diminuitive 5 lb 10 oz. His little brother weighed in at 7 lb 9 oz... nearly 2
lb's bigger.
Here we are at the Hospital

Isaiah is now 10.03 pounds and likes to flex his little muscles. He has tons of hair that get greasy looking if we don't wash it all the time. Frank gave him a bath once and as he poured water on Isaiah to wash his hair, the water all beaded up and rolled off like a duck
